There's a ridiculous variant from (I think) one of the Japanese manufacturers, in UK at least, where the wheels are driven by electric only (great), and the petrol engine cuts in when the battery gets below a certain level - fine, like a range extender; but this variant _can't_ be charged by plugging it in: so, the only way to get energy into this variant is via the fuel filler - in other words, it's a petrol-only car. (They don't even do a Diesel version.)

hi, i have a mercedes c 180 w203. I have problems with the gearbox when it is not warmed up and I put it in D I feel a vibration, and when it warms up the gearbox calms down. the complete oil and filter were changed. and it's the same again, could it be next to the convert.??

Converter whines during acceleration. Stops once the load decreases. Answers anyone?

today My car is used very simple AT design a series hybrid design that engine--->generator---->motor---> a fix speed gear ratio ---> wheel the power control unit is used and used electric signal to generator vs engine speed the parking pawl also exists engaged while in park gear and charging batteries by its engine while parking the ATF only used for cooling generator and the motor the PCU have another cooling system by water so no hydrolic circuit no clutches no torque converter no neutral gear too the reverse was done by turn the motor phase into reverse like EV car but the drive feel like CVT car but have no actual CVT no belt no pulley nothing it like EV transmission so if the wheels move the motor move too.

Mild hybrid really shouldn't be classed as a hybrid. They're just a fancy stop start system where the electric motor alone can't move the car.

Three key functions, transmission fluid: ● it provides lubrication of the moving parts ● cools down the gearbox ● takes part in the hydrolic system *Work cycle* ● from the oil pan it goes through the filter and from it into the oil pump ▪︎ The oil pump then forces it in the valve body of the mechatronic at high pressure ▪︎ Mechatronic regulates the pressure and distributes it to the torque converter and various suctions of the gear box ▪︎ After that the oil goes through cooling system and returns the transmission .

This is absolutely amazing! Never thought such complexity is required for changing gears! Also hats off to the person who made this video.

Sir not ac but he told me ACM faulty

Sir I had a problem with my tata nano AMT (gnex) by mistake the reverse gear got stuck n I took it to tata authorized workshop but the technical just switched on for 5 seconds lights seen on dashboard n told me he will diagnose n scan but he kept the vehicle5 mts away from workshop then after 20 days moved pushing inside the workshop but as I read the manual it is clearly written that auto car should nt be pushed as Catalitic convertor gets damaged n in course of time other components but I was shocked when the technical consultant phone me my nano AC has become faulty so I asked him that when you inserted key the dashboard was showing lights on the cluster Sir what is your opinion on this subject ?Should I file a suit against the workshop technician. ?
